-Paint system includes .25 mil. primer with rust inhibitor and a .75 mil. coating of baked on polyester paint in white, almond, sandstone, brown, bronze, silver, or evergreen.
-Concealed steel plates run continuously from top to bottom of each section for fastening hardware.
-White, powder coated hardware is available as an option;
-White painted end stiles.
-Bottom weather seal utilizes an aluminum retainer and extruded virgin vinyl.
-Double sided steel doors are 2” thick with a CFC-free polystyrene core.
-Raised panel R-value - 8.07.
-Flush panel R-value - 8.72.

2294(Long Panel) 2296 (Combination Panel) 2298 (Short Panel) Series Steel - Pre-finished
They may look like wood, but these models are actually insulated, virtually maintenance-free steel sandwich doors. The front and back skins are both made with a pre-finished, wood grain embossed steel and the cores are filled with CFC-free polyurethane, so you don’t have to compromise aesthetics or durability. Smooth operation and slick design are the 2290's signature features. Its classic design is further accented by a thick coat of baked-on enamel in three designer colors, WHITE, ALMOND or SANDSTONE only.
